Das Herzzentrum liegt im Bezirk Mitte und befindet sich auf dem Campus Virchow- Klinikum der Charité. <br /> Das deutsche Herzzentrum bietet Studiengänge wie Kardiotechnik und Physicians Assistance an. <br /> Beide Studiengänge erfordern eine medizinische/ technische Erstausbildung, bevor sie diese anstreben dürfen.<br /> Die Aufgabe eines Kardiotechnikers im OP ist es, den Überblick zu behalten, die Herz-Lungen-Maschine eigenständig zu steuern und bei Bedarf schnell zu reagieren. <br /> Kardiotechniker tragen eine große Verantwortung, denn eine falsche Bedienung der HLM hat direkte Auswirkungen auf das Leben des Patienten.<br /> <br /> Um Kardiotechniker/In zu werden benötigt man das Abitur.
